A one-off special handmade 10 number product series of our ever popular Tyci 70 chairs. Each one being of a unique colour combination. This chair is a must for any modern, contemporary furniture collector.
The versatile Tyci 70 chair is based on a flat-pack design, but one that can be put together and taken apart as often as you like. The chair is designed to promote good posture and although it is made from hard wood it surprisingly has a flexible, spring like back rest. The chair has to be tried to realise how comfortable it is.
Its back support can be adjusted to slope at different angles and the cut out shape in the back allows space for the spine to breathe without being pressed against the wood, so allowing the bones to remain in its natural curve shape.
The back’s angle can be changed by moving a supporting metal rod up or down through holes in the supporting leg panel. Optional uses can be created by removing the chair’s back panel turning the chair into a stool or side table. There are adjustable feet that can be turned by hand to avoid rocking on uneven floors.
To assemble the chair, the two leg panels simply slot into one another and the seat is connected to the legs with decorative flat head bolts. For this who would like an added cushion, we can supply a grey seat pad from Ikea with the chair.
Product materials include high quality birch plywood faced plastic laminate. The wood edges are finished in a natural wax/oil.
